This is not an isolated incident, as I have learned that others have faced similar problems with Carmax. The absence of a timely and satisfactory resolution to these issues has shattered my confidence in Carmax. Despite this serious matter, Carmax only offered a free oil change, which hardly compensates for the stress caused. Moreover, my dissatisfaction extends beyond the title issue, as I discovered two months after the purchase that the vehicle might be stolen. :) I would have never thought I would buy a car from CarMax or any other online dealer but I would 100% do it again. You do not get these 30 days money back guarantees with dealerships, and you don't get a cute picture with a yellow bow. It was a pleasant experience and the best way to buy a car. They work with you if you want to test drive it, or if you are waiting for your financing to go through they will hold the car. But I can only say good things about CarMax no pushy sales guys, you pay the price they put on the paper. I bought the extended warranty to cover up to 150k miles because I drive 100 miles or more a day and if the drive train or transmission is going to go out, it will around 120k as my experience from previous cars. I had my own financing so told them I wanted to buy the car and I love it. Getting to drive it at night and then rain was a great way to tell that this was the car for me. You can only drive up to 150 miles though which was ok. Which I took but they are closed on Sunday, so I got the car for all weekend. My Mazda was delivered on Dec 1st and I went up there on the Sat to look at it and they offer a 24 hour test drive. It was over the Thanksgiving holiday but was given a date of Dec 3. As soon as I hit the ship button I got text that gave me updates on the shipment of the Mazda, I could track it on my phone as it went through the states and towns. He came out of surgery but left this earth soon after. A team of doctors worked their tails off, but it wasn’t meant to be. They soon realized his Vena Cava was severed.
